What is the Cornellian?
The Cornellian is Cornell University’s official yearbook. Our staff, entirely comprised of students, is dedicated to capturing moments that have defined the Cornell experience for us all. A longstanding Cornell tradition, the 2011 Cornellian will be the 143rd consecutive edition of our award winning publication.
How can I purchase a yearbook?
The Cornellian is 456-pages and available for $99.99(+tax).
In order to guarantee yourself a copy, we encourage you to pre-order the yearbook today! We accept cash, check and credit card. You can fill out a Pre-Order Form and mail it to us, but the easiest way is to visit www.cornellyearbook.com and order via credit card. Yearbooks will also be available for order at our senior photo sessions.
The yearbook is sent to print at the end of February. All copies will be available for delivery or pickup at 409 College Ave. at the end of April.
All sales are final.
Photo Sessions
Photo Sessions will be held for several weeks during Fall semester in Willard Straight Hall’s Browsing Library (on the main floor).
There is a $5 sitting fee and $10 retake fee.
How do I sign up?
Schedule an appointment online at www.ouryear.com! Type in the School Code: 87176 and follow the instructions. Otherwise, call 1-800-687-9327, M-F 8:30am - 7:30pm EST.
What should I wear?
Typical senior portraits look like this:

Attire is business formal(from the waist-up).
Gents: Coat & Tie (with a shirt, please!)
Ladies: Business attire (jacket, blouse, etc…)
Cap & Gowns are available for graduation portraits.
Who takes the photos?
Carl Wolf Studios provides a professional photo staff to take all Cornell senior portraits.
The photographers are friendly, and work hard to ensure the consistency and quality of your portraits. For this reason, we do not accept personal portrait submissions.
When do I have to select my photo for the yearbook?
Please select your yearbook photo by February 5th. Those attending the February Photo Session will be able to select their photo at the photo session.
How is the book produced?
The Cornellian is produced using Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop on iMac computers. Other software includes Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Fetch, and Safari. All photographers use Canon bodies and lenses.
